This electric banjo has an ebony headstock, truss rod cover, and bridge. The top is Wenge. All of it's other features are smiliar to the maple banjo.
We are very excited about the introduction of our Electric Banjo. They had their debut at the Montreal Guitar Show and were a crowd favorite. Their potential is endless with the addition of pedals and amplifiers. I hope to get some sound bites from some of the players in the very near future.
The mini humbuckers have real punch and clarity. With metal finger picks, you can get a Nashville twang to almost like a pedal steel type tone. It's all in the player!
The first time Jesse came over to play his new banjo, he did an amazing rendition of "Take Five". Jesse is in the band 'Town Mountain'.
