7-10-11 Just got back from the Montreal Guitar Show and what an experience. It was an incredible trip,

I meet some of my heroes, and meet lots of new friends. We also introduced two new models, our set neck and our electric banjo. Please check out our web site for additional information on these two new additions. I hope to be posting a few more links in the coming week about the show,Stay tuned!

1-20-11 I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays and that their new year is off to a great start. There is a lot going on in the shop. The inlaid headplates are back, I have an expanded wood collection, fingerboards are ready to be milled, and ... we are just about ready to introduce a new model. Stay tuned!

  I would also like to introduce two more endorsees, Mr. Lee Divico of Gas House Mouse and Mr. Jesse Langlais of Town Mountain. More information will follow when they are highlighted on the Endorsement Page.

6-10-10 We are proud to announce that Mr. Jon Stickley is now our first endorsee. He picked up his guitar this week and I can't wait to hear him rock out on it. Please check out his myspace page for his upcoming shows.

   Widman Custom Electrics was proud to help sponsor the Will Ray  Mountain Jam with the Sons of Ralph this October. This weekly event takes place at the Fletcher Feed and Seed, and gives everyone a chance to get up and play with Asheville's finest. A guitar was provided each week for people to play. We look forward to continuing our support of the local music scene.

 12-1-09  One other bit of very exciting news! We are featured in Vintage Guitar Magazine this month. Check out the Builder's Profile in the January edition, it's at the news stand now.

   We are starting our next batch of instruments. Some beautiful curly maple arrived last week. More wood is scheduled to be delievered next week. I'll try and get some photos of this inspiring wood soon..
